Our Team

Talisha Simons joined FortisTCI in 2012 as the Corporate Communications Officer and was instrumental in establishing the company’s internal and external communications functions. In 2013 she was promoted to Manager of Corporate Communications. Miss Simons played a key role in the redesign and execution of several stakeholder engagement initiatives and community projects designed to improve the Company’s image, reputation and brand value. In 2016 she was promoted to Director of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs and in 2018, to Senior Director of Corporate Communications & Public Affairs.

Before joining FortisTCI, she worked as a representative of the Unites States Department of State in the Turks and Caicos Islands from 2011-2015. She also worked as television news anchor and reporter with PTV8 in 2010 and 2011.

Miss Simons graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration from Florida Agriculture & Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Fla. in 2005.

She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and achieved a level three Leadership and Management Certificate from the Institution of Leadership and Management in 2016.
